Off-Road Bike Seized in Havercroft - You Said, We Did! |

Dear Resident, On Sunday 9th August, PCSOs Kitchen & Sykes from Rural NPT were on patrol in the Havercroft area of Wakefield following a recent increase in reports of an off-road bike being ridden on the road in an anti-social manner.
All reports described a red and white off-road bike, the rider being a young white male aged 14-16 years old, wearing a face covering/balaclava. The second youth on the back of the bike was described as a white female with blonde hair aged 14-16 years old. Both were not wearing helmets.
Officers spotted the off-road bike (pictured below) being pushed down a driveway in the Havercroft area and when the male saw the officers, he tried to hide the bike in the rear garden of the property. Officers quickly identified this bike as being the one used locally; the rider was known to NPT officers and was dealt with using S59 powers resulting in the bike being seized.
